Coaching Study

In this study, we investigate, how coaching conversations can be particularly useful. The main part of the study is a 60 Minute coaching interview on a topic of the participants' choice. Before and after the interview, participants are asked to fill in three questionnaires, which serve as preparation, feedback and post-processing of the interview. The completion of the questionnaires takes around 10 minutes. By participating in the experiment, the coaching is free.

The interview normally takes place at the Istituto Marco Ronzani (Bäumleingasse 2, 4051 Basel). Upon request, the interview can be held at another location in or around Basel or via online video telephony (eg Skype, Facetime or Zoom). If you wish to have the interview at a different location, please let me know in the sign up form or send me an eMail. The online questionnaires will be sent by eMail.

The coaching is resource- and solution-focused, based on the ideas of the schools of Milwaukee, Bruges and BRIEF enriched with elements of current cognitive science.

The data and recordings collected during the study are subject to confidentiality and are stored in a protected manner and evaluated directly by us at the Istituto. Personal and contact data (e.g., names) are kept separate from interview- and questionnaire-data and never shared with third parties. The collected data will be used exclusively for internal research purposes. If the participant agrees, the interview will be recorded for research and quality purposes. The recording of the interview is not a prerequisite for participation in the study. The recordings are transcribed and anonymized and no names are stored in the data. Participation in the study is voluntary and you have the right to end your participation at any time without negative consequences. You may revoke your consent to the use of your data at any time.
